What is your pricing structure & how do I make a payment?


Our prices vary according to the experiences you choose to do in one or more days. Depending on your preferences, we can arrange a customized itinerary for you. Our prices range from USD $30 to $150 per person. Once you submit the booking form, we will get back to you with the exact cost which you can chose to pay online or on the day of the experience itself.


If I make an online payment, is my credit card information safe?


Yes of course! Our online payment system is powered by AnyGuide, a PCI-compliant website, which means that your credit card information is secured through a very rigorous process. Also, we will never sell the information you enter on our site to a 3rd party advertiser or spammer. We are here to help you - rest assured your personal information is safe and secure.


How do I sign up for a GD experience?


We would be really happy to have you over for a custom GD experience! Simply fill click on the Book Now link and fill the booking request form following which we will send you a free, customized experience that meets your preferences. Once we figure this out, we will send you a final confirmation with the experience itinerary along with our address and contact details. If you need transport, just let us know.


How do I get there & do you offer transportation?


If you would like us to arrange transportation for your experience please let us know and we would be happy to help! We can arrange a half (4hrs/ 40 kms) or full day (8hrs / 80kms) taxi for you at a minor extra cost. If you prefer to travel by your own cab or other means yourself you are welcome to do so. Since Delhi is a big city, we request you to please make your driver speak with us once you depart so he can bring you to us without any trouble. You can also find us on Google Maps by searching for Gourmet Desire in New Delhi.


I have heard about the Delhi Belly, should I be worried?


GD began hosting and organizing gourmet experiences for travelers’ way back in 2005 and since then we have carefully vetted our recipes, ingredients, food partners and vendors. You may have heard that the best food is homemade and at GD you eat what we cook together during the cooking experience. For our street food tours and other outdoor eating experiences, we have carefully chosen our food partners for hygiene and safety after several years of experience in the industry. We do this to ensure that your experience is as seamless and delicious as possible. Can I opt for a GD Indian food experience if I don’t enjoy spicy / hot food?


Yes of course! At GD, we understand that everyone has a different spice preference, and hence we take care of that with all our food preparations. Contrary to popular belief, not all Indian food is spicy / hot. In reality all Indian food is definitely loaded with different flavours and aromas and that’s what makes our cuisine special. We are happy to also tailor this depending on your preferences.


Will my experience include alcohol?


We are happy to know your preferences around this and can set this up for you on special request. If you would prefer alcohol with your meal please include it in the special requests section on the booking form and we will do the needful / let you know.


How long is each experience?


GD experiences vary from around two hours to eight hours, depending on which experiences you choose to do. Our ideal experience, which includes a cooking class followed by a meal, lasts for about 4 hours. If you have a time constraint we are happy to help work around them to make it a fun day for you!


I am only available during lunch time for the GD experience, is that a worry?


Nothing to worry about here! We understand your travel scheduling can vary and are hence happy to host you for the experience when you would like to opt for it. If dinner doesn’t work for you, we could do lunch or even breakfast for that matter. Just let us know your preference using the request a booking form.


What if I have allergies?


We can accommodate any allergies and dietary restrictions or preferences you might have. Simply make a note of this in the option given on the request a booking form and we will take care of the rest for you.


What is your cancellation policy?


You can contact us up to 48 hours before your experience for a full refund minus a 6% payment processing fee. If you can cancel within 48 hours of your experience, we would refund 50% of the total amout minus a 6% payment processing fee as our hosts begin the shopping and cooking process up to two days before your arrival. Similarly, if you're paying on the day of the class and you cancel within 48 hours, you would owe us 50% of the total amount.
